Hello,
I think "Guidelines" should also have something in it to promote the
welfare of university technicians rather than only the institutions
pianos. IMHO salaries at universities are way too low for the level of
commitment, demands, education, and private tech rates in the "real
world". Additionally staff tech jobs are often classed as
"Clerical/Technical" or some other low end classification. Faculty
respect us and we deserve better.
