bowing strings

thanks - I guess what I'm really curious about is if other people are seeing
this string bowing phenomenon, is this something happening in other schools?
I haven't witnessed it, but I presume the bow hairs are taken off the bow
and run under the strings and bowed from above (the dental floss effect?!).
Thank goodness they apparently didn't do it on the wound strings.
