any new fix for an old problem

I've been flamed for this one before, but I'll post if again.

Use a large animal syringe to soak the flanges with bourbon.  It has to be
bourbon.  I got this tip from a seminar in Chicago with Fred Drash about 23
years ago.  It works every time for me.  I don't find Protek to be much of a
permanent solution for anything.
