bottom cover

Hi all,

Just got back from my first tuning after a bottom cover install on a 6'
grand. The lowest plain steel strings exhibited about a 7 cent rise in
pitch, while the first wound string (which is on the bass bridge A#3) was
about 4 cents flat. Water usage is way down. I think this will be a
significant improvement in stability. This instrument was tuned the day the
cover was installed because it was used for a concert.
