Richard,
 As the new member of the Institute Committee, I would like to ask for some
input on the CAUT meeting in Chicago (Rosemont) in June.  Don McKechne is
proposing a symposium to include administrators, teachers, manmufacturers
etc to discuss "Pianos in Academia".  Don't know if you are familiar with
this idea ,but would like to get your impressions about this session.
    At present the proposal is for one and one half days of meetings,
workshops and presentations.  Each faction would have a session and a
breakout workshop to discuss issues raised.
    Would it be possible to call you sometime this week-end and chat for a
bit.  When would be a good time for a few minutes?
