re: Minot
Slogan is also the "Magic City!" Any idea where that came from David?
Minot is 3 hours south of Brandon, 2 hours south of the Canada/U.S. border.
The joke here is "we're going to the United States for a southern vacation!"
translation: We're "crossing the line" for a cheap over-nite stay at the
Days Inn in Minot, and will return with a couple dozen Baby Ruths and
various other candy-bars we can't buy in Canada. :>)
