Or a cheaper alterative that someone suggested a few years back, a battery
powered emergency light (Radio Shack, I think) that plugs into a wall
socket and lights up automatically when the power goes off. Remove bulb
socket, replace with buzzer (also Radio Shack), and wire it in to the main
power cord with a clip on socket.
