Hello Ed, Slide a group (22) wippens onto two metal rods in a holding fixture, or leave wippens on the stack, with the stack upside down. A wooden caul conformed to the heel shape held in place with perhaps 3 go-bars provides good clamping pressure over the section. BTW, at home, I re-inforced the ceiling over my workbench, at B.U. the ceiling is concrete. Does a very nice job of "stretching" cloth between the "fore and aft" glueing areas, especially where heels are bolstered with bushing cloth. Have used many times, always a pleasure. Greetings, Heel cloth? as in Whippen heels? I use hot hide glue and a small spring clamp holding a caul. Don't know about go-bars.?? Regards, Ed Foote RPT Vanderbilt U.
