The list has been kind of slow lately, so I'll risk making
an off-topic post while I'm waiting to tune.

I've been trying for a couple of years to get a better
computer here in my shop at the school. I currently have
an older type Mac Power PC that, off and on has given me
problems.

Well, thanks to a "wonderful" inventory system here, our
computer guy just today found a brand new Compac that has
been sitting, unboxed, for 3 years. It was originally
ordered for a faculty member who ended up leaving before
it arrived. So it just sat there for all these years!

Thanks to a good relationship with the computer guru, I'M
GETTING IT! I don't know all the specifics about it yet,
but it is a Pentium III, has a 10 gig hard drive, a fast
processor (don't know what it's called). He's installing
Windows 2000, MS Office, and a few other things.

A question. I have a PC at home. Does anyone know if a
purchased program can be installed on a second computer.
I'm thinking specifically of Eudora Pro and a new Norton
Systemworks that I use on my home computer.

Almost time to go tune for a recital tonight. Only 1 more
week!!!! :-)

Regards,
Avery
