Concert Grand Trucks

That's a good question Conrad. We have a Baldwin SD-10 that is on a grand truck. One of our pianists is tall and he said he didn't like playing the SD-10 because he couldn't get his legs under it. It was shorter than the Steinways. I believe the weight of the grand pushes the three tips of the truck closer to the floor, and consequently the middle of the truck bows up.

Has anyone run into this problem? Anyone encountered a short-legged SD-10? Is it a miniature? Can I breed it out of the next generation? Oops, sorry, got it confused with my step-mother's dogs!

What can I do about the SD-10 that's too short? And I'm serious!
Joy!
Elwood
