Boston verts break-in? (xpost)

Well, a local school district has about a dozen of them and they didn't hold up well at all.  Tuning was VERY unstable.  The UST-8 used to be called the SC3 which I assumed stood for "School Cheap" 3.  The UST-7 was/is a much better piano.  I just never liked them.  The UP-118 also has the bass tuning pin pattern backwards from traditional (ala Kohler & Camphell and a few Kimballs.)  I always expect the treble side bass string of a unison to be the lower pin and when a manufacturer reverses this pattern I have to use too much brain power to keep the hammer on the right pin! :-)
