I took the legs off one, removed the mechanism, glued blocks in the corners and installed rubber casters. It makes a great low dolly to sit on while leveling keys and elicits lots of curious comments. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eric Wolfley Head Piano Technician Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music University of Cincinnati ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -----Original Message----- From: Porritt, David [mailto:dporritt@mail.smu.edu] Sent: Thursday, December 09, 2004 11:24 AM To: caut@ptg.org Subject: [CAUT] benches Thanks for the suggestions on reupholstering our 2 really, REALLY beat up artist benches. The calls I’ve made indicate that no one wants to try on these old Manual Arts relics. I will probably end up sending them to dumpster.com. dave __________________________ David M.
