In French capodastre, is the termination of the strings on the guitar handle
for instance.
Probably from an Italian word capo di astro , was used in the pizza trade
since 249 before JC.
May be some confusion exist with the word "Capot" from l'italien "capotto"
that get to "chapeau" (hat) in French.
I'll have to search for some etymology, but never heard of another word than
capo d'astro (in piano)
