Alan, It's funny, but I am just in the process of removing a set of capstans and was thinking I should take some pictures of the little tool I've adapted for this purpose and share the idea with others. My tool enables you to remove the capstans without taking the keys off the keyframe and it takes about 10 minutes for an entire set. The same tool is used to insert the capstans and takes maybe 20 minutes to do a set. But wait, there's more! This same tool can be used to polish a whole set of capstans in 15 minutes. I'll bring my camera in and take some photos tomorrow.
