If .400 is correct on everything, then all pianos must have the same
ratios for optimum response. I haven't seen that with Steinway pianos. Some of
them require .400"-.410", and some of them do better at .390". It depends on
how high you want the accidentals to be, and how much aftertouch is desired,
(less is better).
