hammer juicing
Why didn't the voice teacher complain about the 'softness'?.
[Leslie Bartlett] I don't think he noticed much. It was much better than
before, and he, 75 and suffering from Post Polio was dealing with more
serious problems than hammer voicing. I, at the time his student was
concentrating on singing........

Were they pre-filed before installation?[Leslie Bartlett] Not before
installation, but I do believe after.

Wally has literature for voicing the Abel hammers. I have installed
a few sets of Abel hammers which when needled as to instructions
the treble came to life, needing stiffener only in the top half octave.
[Leslie Bartlett] Hmm the top is pretty bright- at least plenty bright for
me. It's just slightly less than an octave which just seems mushy.
