[CAUT] Breaking bass strings on C-3

Did the same side of the bichord break each time? The angle of the hammer will cause the 
hammer to tip to one side, more so on ff blows. One string would take the force of the blow. 
The hammers themselves should be needled to improve the spring and shaped so they don't 
spike the wave. String wave patterns that produce high volume levels in the higher partials 
will cause the spike to be near the bridge pin or aggrafe. Still, that must be one powerful, 
screwy wave pattern to bust the wire at the bridge pin!!!!! Harumphphhph
