[CAUT] Ipaq or Dell

I've also owned two iPaqs and one Dell Axim. The Dell is way better.
I don't use them for tuning and probably won't. The battery issue with
iPaqs is a real negative. Dell's battery system is a real plus.

I wouldn't own a PDA without bluetooth and WiFi. I can check email
easily and use my GPS. The bluetooth GPS makes navigating city or
country a thoughtless venture. A good GPS software package like
Mapopolis is worth every penny (and cheaper than a stand alone unit).

I wouldn't buy a new unit either. Refurbs carry the same warranty as a
new unit and cost half the price. All three PDAs I have bought were
purchased online as refurbs. The two Ipaqs which aren't functional
anymore are that way because of my own recklessness. Cement floors
don't mix well with falling PDAs <g>.
