[CAUT] Fujan lever was: Differences

Andrew & Barbara-

I'm using a Fujan Hammer with 5/8" extension and 5 degree tip. Very seldom do I have any problems with strut clearance, and that is when I'm veering off to 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock near a long strut. Sometimes the head doesn't clear the case at pin #1. I've been very comfortable with a 9" tube/makes 13" lever.

I mostly use an impact lever on verticals, so can't say how well it works with odd vertical plates.

I believe it gives very good feedback, and this really pays off in pianos with uneven torque or poor string "follow."

I previously used a Schaff rosewood handle, an Apsco ball end and a very old extension hammer marked "H Lang Chicago," so I don't know how it compares to current top line hammers.

Fujan gives one month return priviledges.
