Drill through the shank from the bottom until the bit intersects the hole, then thread the thing(s) into the lid of a small cheap (thrift store) pressure cooker. I pre-soak the bushings with a squeeze bottle and warm water with a dash of liquid soap to break the surface tension, then steam on the pressure cooker. Ron N
