[CAUT] Tight balancier/ backcheck "formula"

Jon,

This seems to be the best solution instead of roughing the tail, which
seems to work by masking the actual problem. What is the "formula" for
this, if indeed there is one? (Angle degree, arching radius, etc.)

Thanks.

Just a thought on checking. The angle of the back check
and hammer tail arc are critical. When the two collide, the
tactile sense at the front of the key should not be a thump.

The thump I call 'knuckling-in'. What I strive for is more of a
scuffing effect which catches the hammer with zero to minimal
sensation at the front.
