I'm writing to request information on makes and models of climate-controlled rooms for pianos any of you recommend. I've heard them referred to as a "piano garage" but I have never seen one. The recital hall at my university is going to undergo renovation. Previously, the Bosendorfer Imperial Grand and the Steinway "D" pianos have simply been stored onstage on either side of the stage. But the Fine Arts building is old, and the climate control is far from ideal. We are looking into either purchasing a pre-built "piano garage" to store the pianos, or building a room with temperature and humidity controls to house them. Thanks for any information you're willing to share. Linda Holzer
