[CAUT] Yamaha CF value

If your university can dispose of surplus property on eBay, you should try
it.  We just started that up last year and it works great.  The big
auditorium here had a worn out M&H from the mid 1970s that had suffered
years of neglect, then the movers let it fall on its top one day.  After
that it needed a new lid as well as a total rebuild.  They put it on eBay
and got over $14,000 for it!  You never can tell what might happen.  Just
set your reserve high enough so you don't have to give it away.  I'd start
out at $30,000 at least.
