Hi Chris
Sobering thought here when you stop to think of it. I mean... how many
pianotechs are at the same time in marketing in one way or another. I
know several pianotechs that own and operate stores. On the one hand
the pianotech wants to "remain substantial and perservere", but then
that same person as a salesperson is required to throw out the truth at
the earliest possible occasion. Following that line down the road
abit..... it gets nearly impossible to know when to believe what from
anyone at all :)
I'm glad I'm just in all this for the fun of it. Making money is just a
convenient side effect !
Cheers

I think the real issue for us is how to remain substantial and
perservere.
Being a piano technician/rebuilder is an interesting vocation, but stuff
like that can really bring you down. This might be more challenging
than all
the design flaws in history.
Marketing may rule but it is anything but just. To paraphrase, the first
casualty in sales is the truth.
In fact I have a plan to turn it all around. Tax advertising. Don't
give 'em
a tax break. Make 'em pay to sling that...
