Yeah.....

I wondered about that too.  I tried it first on an older set of juiced 
NY hammers I never was excited about anyway and it helped a lot.  In 
fact, on that experiment it helped enough that a visiting player almost 
requested that piano over the "good" one.   Who knows.......  (not me).  
Be conservative but don't be afraid to give it try and see what you think.
