    Hi Rik,
        I'm afraid I share the sense that you have been deliberately
    flaming and
    provoking. I think you owe David Love and the rest of the list an open
    apology, and not one couched in flippant terms. And that you need to
    tone
    down and omit the personal attack mentality you seem to have adopted
    recently. If you aren't able to see that in your own writing, you
    need to
    adopt a more self-critical eye.
        I appreciate your contributions to this list, but this recent
    spate has
    been beyond the pale, and has me considering adding a filter command
    to my
    email programs. Or just a more rapid reflex response to my finger on the
    delete button when a particular name appears.
