I'm wondering (for a quick cheap fix?) if you could find which place on the keystick might work the best for damping out the sound. Perhaps just gluing a piece of leather onto the right place might kill the ringing? (That is, if I had something intended to resonate a lot, like a violin top, and I glued a small piece of leather (with white glue) onto a crucial spot, it sure wouldn't HELP the resonance!) Question: do the keysticks with a lot of lead in them ring less? Susan Kline
