Paul- Use a hair dryer or heat lamp to accelerate drying time. -Lou ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul T Williams<mailto:pwilliams4 at unlnotes.unl.edu> To: caut at ptg.org<mailto:caut at ptg.org> Sent: Friday, May 16, 2008 8:43 AM Subject: [CAUT] Key de-bushing question Hi folks, I have a quick question for you. How long do you typically let the mortise sizing cauls sit while the wood dries after steaming out old key bushings? I usually do this at the end of a day, so they can sit over night, but I'm wondering if just a couple of hours is enough. I finished de-busing a few minutes ago and would like to have the whole set re-bushed today, but if you all think they should still sit for 8-10 hours or more, I'll wait until Monday. Thanks Paul T.
