Salary is commensurate with experience. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or graduation from a recognized piano technology program; registered member of the Piano Technician's Guild; concert-level tuning, regulating and voicing skill; shop skills in action and hammer replacement, restringing, reconditioning/rebuilding and repairs; ability to work cooperatively, effectively, and courteously with faculty, staff and students; willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by performance schedules; ability to be flexible in scheduling of piano maintenance; two years of university or concert-level tuning experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and care for inventory of 85 pianos; supervise the moving of pianos within the School of Music; tuning, regulating and voicing of instruments for faculty/guest artist and student recitals; maintain the work shop; make recommendations for long-term maintenance needs, including instrument replacements.
