[CAUT] False beats Steinway B

Ron,

Wah Wah Wah at about 6-8 per second, very clear beat. Some a bit slower.

Duplex didn't change anything.

I guess I should change the strings and dress the v bar before I get too excited.

Jim, define "false beat". Is it a clear beat or more chaotic
noise, and what's the approximate beat rate? Does anything
change when you tape off the duplexes? Being new doesn't rule
out the V bar just yet.
