[CAUT] teflon bushings

Hi List,
 
I service an older Steinway B with teflon bushings that have over the years become problematic to the point the owner now wants do do something about it.  The client does not want to replace parts.  Any solutions for a "fix" other than rebushing and pinning, which I've done in the past?
