Hi, David - Sounds like an opportunity to emphasize the piano tech's need for quite! ~ Tom McNeil ~ Vermont Piano Restorations Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry -----Original Message----- From: David Bates <dbatesa440 at yahoo.com> Date: Mon, 10 Aug 2009 11:42:53 To: <caut at ptg.org> Subject: [CAUT] Presentation on Piano Care The music director of a church for which I service 26 pianos has asked me to present a briefing for staff (security, maintenance and housekeeping personnel) on their roles in caring for the pianos. Piano covers, locks and moving immediately come to mind, along with closing windows and the appropriate monitoring of heat and A/C. I'd greatly appreciate any input from CAUT techs as to other info I should include. Has anyone done a similar presentation? I'd be greatful to hear about it. Many thanks, Dave Bates, RPT ____________________________________________________________________ David E.
