[CAUT] Tunic OnlyPure Software

Lots been written about the concept of tuning perfect 12ths priority
tunings in the archives. Most of the early discussion predates Stoppers
software. You can quite easily accomplish a P-12ths tuning either by ear
or by tempering a central 12th region (as opposed to an octave) by first
setting the encompassing 12th to a pure 3:1 interval, then proceed by
extending that tempered area to the rest of the piano by simply applying
aural tests for pure 3:1, or 6:2,... and in lower bass 6:1 coincidents.

It IS an interesting tuning priority and no doubt Stoppers software is
as good as an implementation as is likely to pop up. If you have
Tunelab, you can implement a P-12ths tuning yourself, save a bunch of
cash, and learn an awful lot about tuning as you go. Even Pocket Tunelab
allows for a very good direct approximation, which with a bit of
ear-wize tweaking can realize the same result.

     Hi List,

I read with great interest about Bernhard Stopper's Tunic OnlyPure
software that Kent Swafford has been evaluating. First time several
months ago on Piano world website and then in the lastest PTG
    Journal.

Does anyone elso have this software and does anyone have ordering
information from a source in this country...or where to downloard it
    from?
