Can someone describe the actual design weakness in using wound trichords ? I was under the impression that most techs dislikes for them were basically in problems relating to unison bass strings tuning and that welll... 3 were just all that more difficult then 2. Is there something else that is a down side to using 3 wound string unisons ? RicB
