I was curious about this, so I googled [filemaker windows mobile] and turned
up the following review:

http://db.tidbits.com/article/8553

The reviewer was NOT particularly impressed with FileMaker Mobile 8 compared
to the desktop version.

I use SprintDb Pro from www.kaione.com . It is a very full-featured program
for Windows Mobile OS that reads MS Access DB tables and syncs with your
desktop, but it does require that you roll your own database.

see what you have, thank you.

Hi Ruth,

If you have FileMaker (or are willing to purchase it, not too
expensive), there are a couple templates available, one from Alan McCoy, the
other from Jim Busby. Alan's used to be on the caut web page, but that
"resources" link seems to have disappeared. I use Alan's and like it very
much. Jim's has more "bells and whistles" in terms of tracking what you do.
If you are interested, let me know and I'll send you files. FIleMaker does
have a pda version that others use (I don't myself).

Hi all,

I know this was answered a while ago...but I really don't remember the
answer. I'm looking for a software to track multi pianos & keep the service
with each piano for easy access of history. Would love it to be portable
for going on the road.

I've been using ACT, but it is limiting to how many pianos per entry and
have to scroll thru the multi entries to figure out what each piano has had
for work. However, it sync's up with a palm pilot for easy access when away
from the office.

Now that I'm getting more schools with a lot more pianos, I need to rethink
it all. Love to hear your ideas.
