John Granholm 1244 SE Germond Avenue Roseburg OR 97470 -----Original Message----- From: caut-bounces at ptg.org [mailto:caut-bounces at ptg.org] On Behalf Of Nick Gravagne Sent: Saturday, May 02, 2009 10:55 AM To: 'Ed Sutton'; pianotech at ptg.org; 'College and University Technicians' Subject: Re: [CAUT] [pianotech] John Granholm - short update An amazing update!! And doubly so considering that a 15-year-old had the wherewithal to be effective in so horrific a scene. Who is this kid? He deserves an award or something. BTW - I inadvertently deleted a recent post which informed us of John's mailing addresses (I think the post was from Ed S.). Could someone please resend? Thanks Nick Gravagne _____ From: pianotech-bounces at ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces at ptg.org] On Behalf Of Ed Sutton Sent: Saturday, May 02, 2009 4:06 AM To: College and University Technicians; pianotech Subject: [pianotech] John Granholm - short update Jay Hogan, RPT, called last night. He was able to see John in ICU. He says: John is still with us. Drowsy and sedated, but concerned about how others are doing, and showing a sense of humor. Another amazing report: The driver who hit John fled the scene, but a 15-year-old passenger refused to leave, stayed with John and administered first aid, which controlled the bleeding and saved John's life. John was bleeding profusely, and without this young man's help he wouldn't have lived until the emergency unit arrived.
