The tubing you will need is basically a bronze sleeve bearing. A good hardware store has a supply of this type of bearing if not there a bearing supply company will have them. The internal diameter is 3/16" and the outside diameter I believe is 5/16". I have had to replace the pivot pins that go in the brackets as well. You can take a piece of 3/16 brass stock and chuck it in a drill press. Using a file you can reduce the diameter of the end to 1/8' using a file to remove material. The length of this section will need to be just a little longer than the thickness of the bracket. This 1/8" section can be placed in the hole of the bracket and then it is simply pounded in place like a rivet to expand the metal to fit in the hole. A little judicious filing and polishing of the outside edge will leave a repair that is like new.
