David: As I have suggested in the past, if you look at a new agraffe closely, it suffers from the same problems as the old with the exception of the string cut in the old one. So, without letting the perfect get in the way of the optimal, new agraffes need shaping as well as old. Same process, plus the cost of the new set. Just a thought.
