Mark asks: Raising the stack (3mm) would take care of things, but this is really avery efficient action, and I neither want, nor see a need to tamperwith that. What's more, I can't say I really noticed a difference inperformance with either bore dimension. The Question: So, what are the rest of you (and Jon) doing in this situation, and why? I am remembering the action that I raised, years ago. I am remembering the grinding I had to do to the bottom of the pinblock to get the hammerflange screws to go under. Before raising the stack 3 mm, I would check to make sure I had 4 mm clearance between the drop or flange screws, all the way across the action!
