Actually, Wim, no I'm not preaching to the choir. I'm preaching to the PTG, which is basically enabling the problem by not taking some sort of stance. Jeff Jeff Yes, it is a PTG problem, and we have taken a stance. But the low pay, high expectations, low requirements, etc., is't going to change overnight. CAUT has established criteria, guidelines, work load, pay recommendations, etc., and sent them to department chairs. But we have no control over what they do with the information. Jeff, it seems that every time a new university job comes up that isn't offering the salary package that's adequate, you get on this list and repeat the same message. When I said you're preaching to the choir, I meant to say that we've all heard the arguments. We agree with you, but please, tell us something we don't know. Otherwise, give it a rest.
