Perhaps the bit is not secure enough in the chuck. To insure maximum grip, tighten the chuck at each key hole. This is what machinists do. You'd be surprised at how much you can tighten it further from another purchase. Another reason for a stall is that the motor has insufficient torque. -- Regards, Jon Page
