David, Maybe try to send your unsubscribe request as directed below. The old URL http://www.ptg.org/mailman/caut no longer works.... So....quoting This is a reminder, sent out once a month, about your ptg.org mailing list memberships. It includes your subscription info and how to use it to change it or unsubscribe from a list. You can visit the URLs to change your membership status or configuration, including unsubscribing, setting digest-style delivery or disabling delivery altogether (e.g., for a vacation), and so on. In addition to the URL interfaces, you can also use email to make such changes. For more info, send a message to the '-request' address of the list (for example, mailman-request at ptg.org) containing just the word 'help' in the message body, and an email message will be sent to you with instructions. If you have questions, problems, comments, etc, send them to mailman-owner at ptg.org. Thanks! The alternative is to wait until they stop the old mailing list. Do nothing, but use the new site. I've subscribed to the new site. It is very like many other "forum" type sites I've already learned to use, so I have no problem with the new site. Yes, I would like to be able to see attachments and photos, and learn all that, but I'm a very infrequent contributor here. I think the more you use the new site the more you will like it. I LIKE being able to select the discussions in the forums I'm interested in, and leaving others to those who like them. I'm only interested in certain topics. I've found the recent discussions of hammers, touch weight very thought provoking, even though no true final was reached. Your and your colleagues in depth experience is very appreciated. You're not going to abandon ship just because it has a roller furling main on it now, are ya?
