On a couple of our more heavily used practice rooms, the cloth will only last a year or two. We bought a box of leather scraps from Tandy and there are various sizes, etc. It can’t be too hard/thick or too thin/soft. Not as thick as shoe leather and not as soft as backcheck leather.
