<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Starting today they are auctioning off EVERYTHING
right down to the last ashtray and pillow case. This morning the
newspaper ran a list of items which included a Steinway grand. No details
or model, only that it was in rough shape and the lid was missing. It was
reported to have come from the Starlight Lounge show room and used in shows
staring many celebrities over the decades. It was also reported to have
been in storage and unused for an extended period.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Items are being auctioned currently and anyone may
bid in real-time on-line. For whatever reason I have been unable to get
into the web page, probably because there are thousands of people attempting at
the same time. At any rate if anyone is interested the linking page is
at:</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I would consider bidding but I currently have over
25 pianos that I own wedged into the shop in addition to a few I don't
own. I simply have no more room and frankly have other plans for my money
at the moment. Obviously Steinways are popular for rebuilding and this
particular Steinway would probably fetch a higher price once complete only
because of it's origin. In reality I do not subscribe to the idea that
just because a piano was used in a particular place or by a particular person it
is somehow more valuable but these days people will buy just about anything if
they think it is magically worth more. Thus it may or may not be worth
bidding.</FONT></DIV>

interested.</FONT></DIV>
