While there seems to be a general consensus about the way to go with this, it seems to be a matter of covering your liability, or something like that. What's the 15 feet of wood floor like?  Smooth or pitted? What if it were only 10 feet? or 5? 4...3.... Who would doing the "occasional" moving? It's a Steinway A, not a D, or a Mason BB, or, heavens! a Mason CC! The Darnell single (Schaff #2591A) or double (#2592A) would fit the current socket and rolls easily...maybe too easily.  (You might need to use the stagehand method of wrapping a piece of line cord around the base of the wheel, once it's in place). Live dangerously!   But get a signed release.
