<DIV><FONT face=Tahoma size=2> Hi Jeff:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Tahoma size=2> Here's how I would handle this
problem. Explain to the customer and show him how many strings are
breaking. And, that the reasons for string breakage are not fully
known-you might list several. Wire, work hardening, playing with excessive
sustain, playing hard, etc. Regardless of the reason, it is likely to
continue breaking strings. Give the customer two choices: Either
continue like it is, replacing strings as they break, one by one, or replacing
the set at one time. Figure his cost per string X the number of strings,
as well as the cost of replacing the set at one time. Now its his call as
to what he wants you to do. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Tahoma size=2> Do not accept any blame for
this problem. You are there to assist in his dilemma, let him make the
choice. </FONT></DIV>
