This is something new to me.   I get paid to my piano budget for outside events, but I don't get paid personally. The big event center here pays several thousand dollars for an entire year of work on 5 pianos and I tune them quite often.  Many of those were evening and weekend gigs, but I'm not compensated in my pocket. I do get to see a lot of shows for free, so I could look at it that way I suppose, but some shows I'd rather not attend... Does everyone else out there get extra pay for these things or just a few of y'all?  I do go over to faculty homes occasionally and that's pure pay to me. Best, Paul
