angled to the rail.</div>
<div>The shanks are angled to their rail too so mind the pitch on the
hammers.</div>

<div>The wooden action brackets may need duplication or epoxy
reinforcement.</div>

<div>The dampers, HAH, screw into the top flanges. The damper heads
screw onto the</div>
<div>wire which helps to center them on the unisons. The damper is
screwed in with the</div>
<div>head turned upside-down so as not to damage the felt. Flip over
and seat</div>
<div>to ascertain proper underlever height.</div>

<div>The pin block is a nightmare with the blind machine bolts.</div>
<div>A trick for bolt hole location:</div>
<div>Once one section of the block has been fitted to the
flange;</div>
<div>(oh yeah, the block has a bass and treble section) place some
moistened,</div>
<div>wadded-up paper towel or cotton into the hole and lay the block
in place.</div>
<div>Mark the moist spots for drilling the screw holes.</div>
<div>Install the block with the bolts (epoxied flanged
recommended)</div>
<div>Fit the other section. Repeat screw indexing procedure.</div>

<div>I seem to recall a three-sectioned block one time on a larger
piano.</div>
