I just made an agreement , in principal, to rebuild one of these. It
will get everything. I'm wondering now if this was wise. Any thoughts,
other than these?<br>

<div>The brass wippen flanges come in two sizes. Schaff might have
them.</div>
<div>Wally may still have the extra-narrow shanks/flanges and
wippens.</div>
<div>You can't upgrade to modern flanges because the wippens are
angled to the rail.</div>

<div>The dampers, HAH, screw into the top flanges. The damper heads
screw onto the</div>

screwed in with the</div>

<div>The pin block is a nightmare with the blind machine bolts.</div>
<div>A trick for bolt hole location:</div>
<div>Once one section of the block has been fitted to the
flange;</div>
<div>(oh yeah, the block has a bass and treble section) place some
moistened,</div>
<div>wadded-up paper towel or cotton into the hole and lay the block
in place.</div>
<div>Mark the moist spots for drilling the screw holes.</div>
<div>Install the block with the bolts (epoxied flanged
recommended)</div>
<div>Fit the other section. Repeat screw indexing procedure.</div>

<div>I seem to recall a three-sectioned block one time on a larger
