And is probably lighter weight. One thing it doesn't do is take any stress off the back leg, which the piano horse may do a little bit because of having two "rockers." Or maybe it doesn't, I don't have the experience to tell. Doesn't matter much on smaller pianos, though, and that's what I'm going to use it for. It took me maybe as much as an hour to put together (including "design" - I tried a couple different configurations of "spokes", length and angle - and cutting lumber).
